A Floral Attar Built on Sandalwood and Amber

This is the floral attar in the Velvet range that sits on wood rather than on musk. The florals open it, sandalwood holds the middle, and amber closes it out. That woody centre is what separates it from the lighter floral attars, which fade toward musk instead.

The oil contains no alcohol and comes in a 6 ml bottle.

Fragrance notes and oil concentration

• Florals at the opening. Soft and rounded rather than sharp, which sets the tone before the woods come through.
• Sandalwood through the middle. Creamy and warm, and the note that gives this attar its weight rather than letting the florals thin out.
• Amber at the base. Warm and resinous, and what the fragrance settles into over the hours.
• Lasts 8 to 12 hours from a single application, though this varies with skin type and climate.
• Alcohol free base. With no alcohol diluting it, the oil stays on the skin instead of evaporating off it, which is why one drop replaces several sprays.
• One formulation for everyone. Sold as a single unisex oil.
